I Love My Bowflex for Toning and Maintaining

The only reason I honestly have a Bowflex is to look decent for my girlfriend. I’m male by the way! By decent I mean in shape and toned but not bulging with muscles or having a 6 pack or anything. Decent enough in plain English that its acceptable enough that a woman isn’t going to think twice about having sex with me! I know I’m suppose to say all the health stuff which is a side benefit but I wanted to blunt with people like me who need motivations to work out!

I’ve had my Bowflex for over 16 years now, I guess its old school and its no longer even being sold and has been replaced by several better models. I haven’t replaced it though because it does exactly what I want it to do, has worked perfectly for 16 years and I’m very happy with it but if youy’re reading this and don’t own a Bowflex, the new ones like I said seem great and I’d get one if you want a great machine to maintain and tone in a fast work out. As far as building huge muscles, I can’t comment on that one way or the other because I don’t work out that way. My Bowflex cost about $1300 back then and its been more than worth every penny.

The great thing of having a Bowflex in the House is you don’t have to go through the hassle of going to a health club and you can work out any time you want. I have my Bowflex located fully ready to use in my Den, when I first got it I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment and kept it in a closed folded up and wheeled it out 3 days a week and opened it up. It took me all of 5 minutes to do that! If you have an extra room or space, I suggest you leave it out fully assembled to save the 5 minutes to open it up!

I just do the basic 3 sets of the basic exercises and I’m done: Military Press, Bench Press, Flys,Lat Row,Lat Pulldowns,curls,reverse curls,triceps extensions,Bicep curl,French Press,Leg Press,Leg Extension and so on. I may have missed a couple as I’m writing this off the top of my head. The bottom line is there are so many exercises you can do its up to you. I’m sure the current Bowflex models have even more exercises available,
